Dr. Ashley Sprank, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Ashley Sprank (“Klein”) is a 2016 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has enjoyed each moment of practice at Tri-Vet Associates ever since! She loves every puppy snuggle and appreciates every caring client she meets. She and her husband Dr. Tim Sprank share 3 growing kids. She enjoys her time off running, keeping up with her crazy kiddos, playing soccer and painting.

Dr. Gary Bramel, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife Jodie have two sons, Alec and Christopher. In his free time, he enjoys bicycling, playing guitar in a band, and crop farming a small acreage.

Dr. Jared Jacobson, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Jared Jacobson, joined Tri-Vet Associates in 2017. He grew up on a farm in Northwest Iowa and graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 . Dr Jacobson practices both large and small animal medicine. Jared, his wife Jessica and their three kids Marcus, Cyrus, and Scarlett live in Dyersville, along with their dogs and cats. Jared enjoys hiking, pheasant hunting, skiing and beekeeping.

Dr. Jennifer Hosch, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Jennifer Hosch joined our staff in 2009 after graduation from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Jenn and her husband Mike and their four sons, Sam, Luke, Jack, and George, live near Cascade on their family farm. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, reading and cheering on the Cougars and Cyclones.

Dr. Judd Grover, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Joined our staff in 1996 after graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife Michelle have four sons, Kyle, Jacob, Owen, and Conner. Judd is an avid sports fan, and enjoys riding horses and camping with his family.

Dr. Scott Reitzler, DVM

Joined our staff in 2001 after graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife Anne have three daughters, Malerie, Sydnie and Reese. Scott enjoys hunting, fishing, football and farming.

Dr. Tim Sprank, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Tim Sprank graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and has loved being in practice at Tri-Vet Associates ever since.
He and his wife Dr. Ashley Sprank (“Klein”) share three growing kids. He enjoys spending his off time with his family, working on the family farm, in the shop, or on the soccer field.

Dr. Todd Kluesner, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Joined our staff in 2002 after graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He and his wife Janel have two daughters, Caroline and Anna, and one son, Jack. In his free time, Todd enjoys attending his kids activities and following the Cyclones and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Dr. Leah Hagemann, DVM

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Hageman joined our veterinarian team in June of 2021. She is a 2021 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up on her family’s dairy farm in Calmar, Iowa. She spends her free time fishing and kayaking with her husband, John. She also enjoys trapshooting, gopher trapping, and volleyball.

Kari Erickson, RVT

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Joined our staff in August of 2008. Kari is a Navy Veteran and she graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 2011 and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. Kari and her husband Nathan live on a small acreage outside of Edgewood, where they raise their children, Gemma and William and have multiple animals. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Kari loves the outdoors, hiking, running, ATV rides and traveling.

Tanya Deutmeyer, RVT

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Joined our staff in July of 2013. Tanya graduated from Kirkwood Community College and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She and her husband Tim live in Dyersville and share their household with their daughter Lydia and their two dogs; Clyde, and Wednesday. She enjoys spending time with family, watching Lydia grow and making memories with friends.

Carmen Knipper, RVT

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Carmen started with our clinic in 1999,  took a few years off to raise her daughters and to work on their farm, and we welcomed her back in 2018. Carmen graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a Degree in Veterinary Technician, Small Animal Services, and Pet Grooming. Carmen, her husband Mark and their twin daughters Lainey and Kaya live on a farm near Worthington with their funny farm of animals. They raise feedlot cattle, boer goats, chickens, and their dogs Megan and Roman keep everything in check. They love spending time at the camper and watching the girls play softball and volleyball.

Samantha Brown, RVT

Samantha joined our staff in May 2020. She graduated from Kirkwood Community College and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. Sam and her husband Austin live in Worthington. Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also is a proud owner of a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Arlo.

Linda Dunkel

Joined our staff in April of 2007. Linda and her husband Joe live on an acreage in Worthington. They have three grown children, Jolene, Zach and Jenna, and two dogs, Max and Rudy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cruising in their convertible.

Merle Feldmann

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Merle has been with Tri-Vet since 1981. Merle and his wife Betty live in Farley. Merle is the oldest of five brothers and three sisters. He is an active member of the American Amvets. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking with Far-Fry, fishing and bowling.

Kelly Phillips

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Kelly joined our staff in July 2021. She grew up on a dairy farm in Rickardsville, IA and went to Western Dubuque High School. She attended the University of Platteville-Wisconsin for a year, then transferred to NICC in Peosta to receive her Associates Degree. Kelly and her husband Sheldon live in Colesburg along with their son Hank, and five fur babies; Daisy, Rooster, Copper, Ivy, and Sky. In her free time, she likes to play with her dogs and enjoy the outdoors.

Melissa Dolphin

Melissa joined Tri-Vet in December of 2018. She graduated from University of Wisconsin Platteville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. Missy and her husband Collin live right outside of Balltown with their dog, Mable. In her spare time, she likes helping out on the family farm, hunting, fishing, walking and spending time with family and friends.

Holly Goebel

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Holly joined our staff in November of 2022. She grew up on a dairy/beef farm outside of Guttenberg, Iowa. Holly currently lives on the family farm with her parents and two older brothers. Holly went to Western Dubuque high school and graduated in 2023. In her spare time in-between milking cows and feeding calves, she likes to go boating on the river and take long walks through the cattle pastures to see the cattle graze.

Kaitlin joined our staff in December of 2022. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. In her spare time, Kaitlin enjoys listening to podcasts, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Lori Daly

OFFICE MANAGER

Joined our staff in March of 1988. Lori and her husband Tim live on a farm near Bankston. They have three grown children – Jimmy, Sarah (husband Jordan), Eric and granddaughters Hayden and Oaklynn. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, walking, reading and spending time with family and friends and spoiling her granddaughters.

Dr. Dewayne Rahe, DVM – RETIRED

VETERINARIAN

Started practice in 1977 after graduating from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. He was one of Tri-Vet’s founders, along with Dr. Chapman and Dr. Goerdt. Dewayne and his wife Krystal have two daughters, Elisha and Emily, and two sons David and Michael. In his free time, Dr. Rahe is an avid fan of ISU athletics.

Dr. Earl Goerdt, DVM – RETIRED

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Earl Goerdt grew up on a farm in Delaware County. He received his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1969 from Iowa State University. Following service in the Army, he returned to Farley in 1973 to join Dr. Gerald Chapman in practice. He is one of Tri-Vet’s founders, along with Dr. Chapman and Dr. Rahe. Earl and his wife Carol have four grown children – Amy, Matt, Joe & Kimberly. They also have 6 beautiful grandchildren. For enjoyment, he likes to hunt in the fall and winter.

Dr. Earl Goerdt passed away on May 5, 2022.

Dr. Paul Herrig, DVM – RETIRED

VETERINARIAN

Joined our staff in 1981 after graduating from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. Paul and his wife Margie have one daughter, Annie. In addition to work, Paul enjoys playing hockey in the winter and golf in the summer.

Julie Vonderhaar – RETIRED

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Joined our staff in 1976, and retired in December of 2021. Julie along with her husband Tom live on a farm near Luxemburg. Julie and Tom have three grown children, Tony, Jill (and husband Travis), and Tim and a granddaughter, Mila. Julie has numerous cats on the family farm, some of which were strays that Julie took-in to love. In Julie’s spare time, she enjoys walking, traveling, reading, and playing with Granddaughter Mila and Grandpuppy Willow.
